Breast Self-Exam

  • Lie on your back and put your right hand behind your head.

  • Use your left hand to press down to examine the right breast.

  • Apply light, medium, and firm pressure to check all layers of your breast tissue.

  • Sit up and press into your right armpit to check for lumps.

  • Squeeze your nipples to check for any discharge.

  • Lie back down, switch arms, and repeat.






It's advised to examine your breasts 3-5 days after your menstrual cycle.
